Ryobi BT3000 Modified for Router Raizer
I modified the stock router table insert on one of my Ryobi BT3000 tablesaws to accept a Router Raizer RZ100 (Amazon link) which uses the plunge base from my Hitachi KM12VC.
Once installed, you remove the magnetic dustplug port cover in the top of the table.
Then using the same tool, you can easily raise and lower the router from above the table. These changes are extremely precise and repeatable.
When can I find the red insert. I own a craftsman and they use the same parts. What Is the outside diameter
Darren, the red inserts are part of a kit called the BT3000 Accessory Kit. The kit is about $100 and includes 1 set of castors, 1 dust bag, 1 dado throat plate, 2 zero clearance throat plates, 1 miter clamping kit, 1 router mounting kit, 1 miter slot table and all mounting hardware. A google search this morning indicated that Home Depot still has them for sale and there are also a number of them available on ebay.
HI do you have the instructions on how to modify my bt3000 to add the router lift. An instructional or video. Wood turners woodworker
